Ten years, one needle, one obsession.

Scotty Massa picked up a tattoo machine in his early twenties and never put it down. A decade later, his work has been carried on bodies across four continents — built on a foundation of American traditional and shaped by mentorships from Berlin to Tokyo.

His practice lives at the intersection of bold and quiet. Saturated colour and confident lines that read from across the room, paired with the patience to sit for hours on the smallest piece. The geometric tattoo work — sacred geometry, mandalas, dotwork and ornamental pieces — has become a signature alongside the traditional and Japanese commissions.
